Hilton Yam Hilton Yam is a full time law enforcement officer in Florida with extensive experience working robbery and violent fugitives. He is currently assigned to firearms training and SWAT. He is the lead instructor for his SWAT team, and is responsible for providing training in firearms, CQB, rappelling, defensive tactics, and team tactics. He is also responsible for RDT&E of equipment. Hilton initially gained attention through his custom 1911 work, which eventually evolved into the development of the 10-8 Performance line of sights, custom components, and accessories. Hilton has over a decade of experience in Kenpo Karate, Kali/Escrima/Arnis, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and a number of other martial arts. He holds instructor ratings in Kenpo Karate and Dog Brothers Martial Arts full contact stick fighting.
Tim Lau Corporal Corporal Tim Lau is a full time law enforcement officer with a municipal department in Los Angeles County, CA, serving as a night shift Patrolman, Field Training Officer, Department Rangemaster, and Armorer. Tim has been an instructor with the Gunsite Academy, EAG General Enterprises, Inc. and Force Options Institute, with instructor certifications from FBI, NRA, SureFire, Simunitions, CA POST, and teaches Edged Weapons Defense, Pistol, Carbine, Shotgun and Submachine Gun. In addition, Tim has over a decade of martial arts experience to include, Aikido, Kali/Escrima/Arnis, Jun Fan/Jeet Kune Do, Muay Thai Kickboxing, and Silat.

Wayne Dobbs

Wayne Dobbs is a retired law enforcement officer with 25 years of service in a Dallas area municipal police department. During that career, Wayne served in patrol, criminal intelligence, narcotics, SWAT, federal organized crime task force and firearms training assignments. After his retirement, Wayne served two years in Iraq on a police training contract in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, where he led a transitional program firearms training course at the Baghdad Police College. He has trained under Ken Hackathorn, Pat Rogers, Larry Vickers, Paul Howe, Greg Hamilton and numerous other major trainers. Wayne has held armorer certifications from Glock, HK, Remington, Beretta and Sig. He holds instructor certifications from Glock, PPCT, DTI, CSAT and the FBI. Wayne sponsors major trainers in the Dallas area and continues to provide firearms training to both private citizens and law enforcement groups.
Erick Gelhaus Erick Gelhaus has been a Deputy Sheriff in northern California since 1990. Currently assigned to patrol as a training officer, he is also a Senior Firearms Instructor and armorer. His previous assignments included a federal narcotics task force and street gang violence suppression. Erick served as an Infantry squad leader in Iraq. He is an adjunct instructor at Gunsite and a staff writer for S.W.A.T. magazine.
Rob Haught Rob Haught is a 23 year veteran of law enforcement. With experience as a Patrol Officer, K-9 Handler, Investigator, and SRT Team Leader, he currently serves as Chief Deputy for a Sheriff’s Office in West Virginia. He is a respected instructor for federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies and is an adjunct instructor at the West Virginia State Police Academy. As a competitive shooter he is a former IDPA National Champion and has numerous regional, state and local championship titles. Perhaps best known for his innovative tactical shotgun programs, he also offers training in handgun, carbine and submachine-gun.
Bob Moran Bob Moran is currently a member of a Department of Energy Special Response Team in South Carolina. He has worked in the DOE community since 2000, working at three facilities. Bob served 12 years in the US Army as an Infantryman. While serving with the 82nd Airborne Division he deployed numerous times, including Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm. He also served with the 25th Infantry where he deployed to Haiti for Operation Uphold Democracy. He has completed extensive training, including graduating the Department of Energy basic officer, SRT, instructor and supervisor courses, and the Albuquerque SWAT Operator Course. He has earned his Expert Infantryman's Badge, Combat Infantryman's Badge, Air Assault Badge and Master Parachutist badge.
Joe Riedy Joseph Riedy has 22 years of municipal Law Enforcement experience. During this time his assignments have included Patrol Sergeant, Vice, Special Operations, Emergency Response Team Leader, and Training Division Supervisor. As the head of the Training Division, Joe was responsible for training department personnel in firearms, less-lethal weapons, chemical munitions, and defensive tactics as well as acting as the department armorer. Joe was also an adjunct instructor for Heckler & Koch's International Training Division for eight years, teaching Pistol, Carbine, Shotgun and Submachine Gun.
